SLAQ offers youth from diverse backgrounds a chance to discover the sacredness of life and the gift of a “good” creation through opportunities of real-life: Adventure, discipleship, & leadership.
Adventure Series
The SLAQ Adventure series is the “welcome mat” to the SLAQ program. As such it is open to adventurous youth 13 and up of diverse backgrounds wherever they are on their spiritual journey. Our goals is to help youth discover “Life as Adventure” through encounters with real life: Adventure, Community & Story
Discipleship Cohort
The Discipleship Cohort is a way to come alongside both parents, and the local church in order to raise up from the next generation serving leaders in the way of Jesus. We do this by offering a 9 month formation program that combines real life: Outdoor recreation, community service & Crucial Conversations over a three year cycle.
Serving Leadership Training
At the heart of any SLAQ venture you will find a core leadership team comprised of what we call “serving leaders”. SLAQ in partnership with TranSend envisions a year long serving leader dual internship where emerging adults are encouraged and challenged to develop in both character & competency as serving leaders in the local community through immersive real life learning & leading experiences
