Newcomer Adventure Camp -
Since 2024 SLAQ youth have helped design and execute an annual 3 day Newcomer Adventure Camp. All told the SLAQers with the support of an Adventure Camp Guide have lead over 30 recent immigrant and refugee middle schoolers through lots of fun team building games, hikes throughout the national park and forest, as well as fundraising to acquire high quality bikes for all camp participants.
