We expanded our coalition of SLAQ Partners to increase our capacity to disciple the next generation into life as adventure, with God.
We raised over $4,000 in the last week to officially and formally cross the finish line, completing the SLAQ 2.0 Campaign.
Thank you to every single person who prayed, gave, and networked on behalf of SLAQ. SLAQ now exists, in part, because your concern for the next generation was transformed into partnership with SLAQ.
Everyone who becomes a SLAQ Partner during the campaign (by April 1st) will receive two invitations to our 2nd annual SLAQ Banquet for an evening to bless our SLAQ Seniors, celebrate what God is doing.

In the summer of 2020, a group of fourteen parents, youth, and mentors set out on a 100-mile bikepacking trip. Together, we discovered the DNA of life as adventure: God’s invitation to face the challenge of life within the promise of an “exceedingly great reward” (Gen. 15:1).
Thus, Servant Leader Quest, or SLAQ, was born.
Since then, SLAQ has blossomed. The annual bikepacking trip continues. We’ve also added a youth discipleship cohort and an internship for young adults. Each program embodies our F.I.R.E values of Faith, Integrity, Resilience, and Empathy. All told SLAQ has helped over 50 youth embrace “life as adventure with God” through 17,000 miles on the trail, 1,930 hours of service, and 33 intergenerational conversations about faith and culture.
Today, SLAQ stands at a crossroads.
For the last 18 months, Coracle has generously housed SLAQ during a season of significant growth. To establish long-term viability, SLAQ now needs to find a new home, and VMMissions has offered to help. This is where you come in. We need to expand our coalition of partners who pray, give and share the vision of SLAQ. Specifically, we are seeking 85 SLAQ partners who will give $45,900 toward the support of this ministry.
Will you partner with us as we inspire the next generation to embrace “life as adventure with God”?
